Scam Warning

The Hidden Truth Behind Britco & Bridco’s Training Model

What seems like opportunity is actually a trap.

False Promises and Trapped Dreams

Britco & Bridco lure students — especially from ITIs and rural backgrounds — with "free training" offers. In truth, they deliver only 1–2 months of classes before pushing students into local shops for On-Job Training (OJT), where they are treated as cheap labor.

Modern-Day Trafficking Model

Shops pay Britco up to ₹1 lakh per student yearly to get “free workers.” Students are placed without consent, often far from home, and receive as low as ₹2,000/month. No food, no housing — barely survival.

Fear & Coercion

Students are mentally trapped: original certificates are withheld, and they're told they'll owe ₹4 lakh if they leave — despite no real legal agreement or court-approved contract.

Real Student Testimonials

“We were promised 6 months of class. They gave us 1.5. I worked 12 hours a day for ₹2000/month. They threatened me when I asked for my certificate.”
– Former trainee, Malappuram
“They placed me in a random shop. I had no support, no food, no pay for months. I collapsed from illness. No one from Britco even called.”
– ITI batch student

Frequently Asked Questions

Can they legally keep my certificate?

No. It is completely illegal under Indian law (UGC/AICTE guidelines) to retain original certificates as a condition of service or training.

Is the ₹4 lakh penalty enforceable?

Only if you signed a registered stamp-paper agreement with clear clauses. Most students sign blank papers or informal documents — these do not hold legal value.
